General student for a day experience
Utrecht University’s Open Days give you a general impression of the study and study environment. After this day, you might still have doubts about whether the study really suits you, or you might still be hesitating between different universities. This is why we organise ‘Meeloopdagen’ (Student for a day experience) in collaboration with the study programme. You are a student for a day and find out what it is like to be a student at Biomedical Sciences in Utrecht!
On such a student for a day-experience, you follow different forms of education, such as a lecture and a tutorial. Furthermore, there is the opportunity to talk and ask questions to students and study advisors.
You can register for a general student for a day experience via this site.
1-to-1-Student for a day experience
Have you visited an open day and already attended a general student for a day, but are you still not sure? Then it is possible to spend a day with a first-year Biomedical Sciences student in Utrecht. Together, you agree when you will walk and teach with them. The first-year student can also take you to, for example, the Medical Library, the foyer, the study landscape, the association room and all the other important places you might visit as a student. Students’ schedules are very varied and it is not possible to join every class, so it is useful to plan ahead. Would you like a 1-on-1 student for a day experience with a first-year student? Then email Tim Groenendijk at mebiose-praeses@umcutrecht.nl. He can pair you up with a student.
Disclaimer: the Student for a day experiences are for Dutch-speaking students only, as the bachelor is in Dutch!
