Foundation BEBSU
The Foundation Foreign Excursion Biomedical Students Utrecht (BEBSU Foundation for short) is the financial administrator of the money for the Foreign Excursion Committee that organizes every two years a trip to a biomedically important location abroad. The BEBSU Foundation was created because a field trip for biomedical students involves large sums of money. With the foundation, the finances are independent of the money managed by the M.B.V. Mebiose. Therefore, the M.B.V. Mebiose is not at risk of loss due to the field trip. To ensure that this goes well, the BEBSU Foundation also has a board consisting of a Praeses, ab Actis and Fiscus. This board is overseen by the Supervisory Board, which consists of former members of the Foreign Excursion Committee and the BEBSU Foundation. The board of the BEBSU Foundation for the year 2024-2025 consists of Lianne Veldhuis, Kevin Verhoef and Almar Vries.

Mebiose Book Sale Foundation
As a study association, Mebiose is also responsible for providing students with textbooks and other books used for courses. Because a lot of money is involved in book sales, it was decided to establish a separate foundation for this purpose. This is Stichting Boekverkoop Mebiose (Mebiose Book Sale Foundation).
This foundation is run by the vice-ab Actis of the Mebiose board and is monitored and advised by the Book Sale Committee. For questions related to the book sales or the committee, you can always email mebiose-viceabactis@umcutrecht.nl.
