Hey hey,
My name is Lianne, and this year I have the privilege of serving as vice-Praeses. In this role, I’m primarily responsible for representing the educational interests of both bachelor’s and master’s students, which involves attending all HvdB meetings. When I’m not in a meeting, you can find me in the clubroom for a cup of tea, a game, or a chat. I’m also serving this year as an alternate member of the Master’s Committee, helping to organize activities for our GSLS students and our association magazine, the Tight Junction, as well as on the Gala Committee, where we’ll be putting on a wonderful gala. Additionally, I’ll be organizing the One Health conference next year together with several other associations.
In addition to my board position, I also enjoy staying active. I can often be found at the gym, and I take ballroom and social Latin dance classes at UDance. I’m also usually up for a walk or a dance session on Just Dance. I also love playing games, music, art, and reading, and every now and then I’ll catch a concert or a free dance night when we don’t have any activities scheduled. I’m looking forward to the coming year and hope to see you often in the lounge and at activities for a chat or a fun evening :).
